Telaga Warna, Indonesia (the Colorful Lake)

Telaga Warna, Indonesia (the Colorful Lake)

Her beauty and the mystery hidden between the chain of hills at an altitude of over 2,000 meters above sea level. This lake is rightly called Telaga Warna due to a natural phenomenon that causes the water in the lake to change colors fluctuating. Sometimes it comes to green, yellow, purple or even taking the colors of the rainbow.
the Telaga Warna, in fact, is split in two, between a part of a turquoise ringing and a part which tends to a dark color: as there is surprisingly a clear line that passes through it, and is not given from the shadows or reflections the mountains that surround it.
This phenomenon occurs because of the high content of sulfur in these waters, so that when the sun hits the water, is reflected in various colors. You can also see around the center of the lake, a stretch of water that seems to be bubbling; which is also due to its high sulfur content.
Located in Kejajar in Wonosobo, Central Java, this beautiful lake with its natural forest.
The harmony of nature with its clean, fresh air makes the atmosphere Telaga Warna Dieng very interesting and relaxing. The mystical atmosphere created by the white fog that envelops the area, as well as the tall shady trees surrounding the lake, convey a feeling of refined calm and relaxation. A visit to Dieng would not be complete without going and witness the beauty of Telaga Warna in person. From here you can also visit Lake Pengilon, Semar Goa, Goa Jaran, and Sikendang Crater.
